i dont like those doors at all

i do  :happy2:

they aint on a chavvy 106 or saxo, they are on a decent, very highly modded car and make it different from the rest. also they have the option of openning lambo or normal, so dont have to pose all the time.

id love that car, but its been screwed all its life (obv) and i dont like the colour!!

....

The doors on that GTI are awful not awesome! I remember them telling me at a show that they really didn't like them and they added unnecessary weight. Cars like that are just mules for advertising various mods and sometimes for testing new products.

It will have been regularly maintained, but..................

I had the car on loan for a week while they used my ED30 for HPFP development, and like has already been said its a bit of a test bed and show donkey to turn heads and get attention. It does go well and the brakes are awesome, I give a lift to ice skating to a couple of 18yr old lads and they thought the doors were "sick" which says it all really

Agree with the doors, we have seen some nasty fitted doors at work in the past,

Although Hamann offer a door conversion and the door opens smoothly up and out in one, they work great
but charge £12000 fitted

TBH the doors work really well, the shut lines are alot better than some factory 3dr GTi's I've seen, they open normally to about half way and then you can lift them, but they aren't my cup of tea, but ETTO

If i remember rightly they like Hurdy,  found the limit of the clutches with the DSG and wound the power back down. i saw it in two magazine shoot outs both times when comparing the power to claimed power they said there was problems with the map or something similar. My guess is they were getting the clutch slip but didn't want to advertise this.  :chicken:
