Window problem, snapped cable.
« on: May 05, 2014, 09:42:22 pm »
Hi chaps.

Must be one of the hottest days of the year so far and blow me down I try to open drivers side window this morning and heard a crack with no window movement.

It's been slow for a whole but now the window is free moving which causes a security risk and annoyance factor of 100.

When I search for window problems it comes back with wire and resistor problems but the motor is going strong in there somewhere. Anyone had any experience?

Thanks!

Take the door skin off and look. Probably snapped something.

It's not common, not yet anyway.
