Quick one about Monza's
« on: April 23, 2014, 08:26:25 am »
Hi all,

I have read through the Wheel fitment guide above, but just wanted to check something first.

I have found a set of 2nd hand gloss black Monza's, without tyres, that I think came off of a mk5. The owner says they are genuine, and has sent a pic of the stamp. It states on the stamp:

7 1/2Jx18H2 ET51

Sorry for being a bit dim, but is the above says genuine? Would the alloy not have the VW logo stamped somewhere as well?

One more thing, I am guessing alloys which came off of a mk5 will fit a mk6 GTI?

Cheers guys

Lx

They should have the part number stamped on the inside if genuine, starting 1K0.

You got any pics?
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Post a pic as someone can honestly describe a rep as being genuine without being untruthful  i.e. a genuine rep
Without traction power is nothing!

Here is a pic of one of the wheels and the stamp on the inside:

I have asked him if they are genuine VW and to send me a pic of the part number etc. Waiting for a reply.

Yes they will fit no problem as they share the same stud pattern, 5 x 112.

Yes, think they were Paul. Same with the mk 6, as mine came with 17, but I want 18.
