more and more people are joining because they have issues of some sort.
great to see them on here , but some upfront info would help a lot where possible.
(e.g. if its an early GTI the camshaft issue etc)

so how about a sticky (or some other way , like adding text  when you are on the 'create post' screen) where the poster can add some 'primer' information ?

e.g.

Make [Golf/Seat/Skoda...]
Model [GTI/R32/Edition30/Cupra/Leon/Octavia/Fabia...]
Year  [05..]
Gearbox [DSG/Manual]
non OE modifications [APR remap]
any recent changes to car  [new DV]

not sure which section but performance mods would be a start.
just my usual rantings  :laugh:

Maybe if it could be built into the posting template in the Troubleshooting section that would work quiet well.
