The new whip

Hi all...been lurking on here for a while but have now got myself a mk5 140tdi, full vwservice history, 1 owner and 76k on the clock...cam belts just been done too.

Nice base I think



140 GT, Steel grey, smoothed R32 rear, GTI front with all black US grill, DRL's, ED30 interior, GTI pedal set, 18" Monzas, GTI headlights and R32 rear lights

That's what mine looked like a year and a half ago  :smiley:. Definitely a good base, and one of the best colours IMO

Well, just been to collect this....60 quid for tyres bumper, fog grills and fog lights :-) (already had the grill)



Looking at lowering, but its my daily and has to be useable...also ferries my baby about ( hence 5 doors).  So thinking lowering springs, good lows combined with comfort/good ride??? Any advise???

Also want GTI interior, wheel, gear knob etc....and of course a bit of a map lol= poverty
