1400kg apparently, but that's the specs of the OEM tyres, so I'd rather stick to those.

My last 3 sets have been 88, they're 560kg rated. Fair enough though.

Just thinking about insurance. Those toerags will do anything to wriggle out of paying up and tyre specs are probably something they'd check.

If you are fitting 88's you should tell your insurance but not before you lube yourself up.

In actual fact the 92's I've bought from Tyreleader are cheaper than the 88's from Camskill.

Just found Michelin PSS 225/40/18 92y XL for £100 a corner full set £400 delivered  :jumping:

Danm - these are coming down in price!! Are the ones in the link XL? The speed and load ratings are fine but doesnt mention XL anywhere? (unless im being blind!)

These have gone up to £105 delivered on Oponeo.

However, just ordered 2 from mytyres.co.uk for £99.91 delivered using voucher code " AMAK2907" (gives 3% discount).

Had a set fitted myself today, £450 all in from Costco (225/40/18)

I fitted mine yesterday there amazing tyres pick up a lot of stones though because there that sticky and I dunno if it's just me but think they add class to the car  :jumping:
