Michelin Pilot Super Sports
john_o:
me too, was running PSS all round but needed fronts (worn on inside edges) and found PSS are in short supply or those that do have stock are prohibitively expensive
Have previously run the PS3 and they were poor.
Now running PS4 on the fronts (PSS rear) and so far they are indeed a great tyre :happy2:
No match for the PSS in the dry but seem comparable in all other conditions.
Johnsy:
Tyreleader has them £132 a corner 225/40/18 92y XL. 88Y is £118
simonp:
That's expensive in my opinion. Also, they probably have them because they're not based in the UK (despite the domain name) and that the PSS seems to be more readily available on the continent. This was more or less confirmed to me by Michelin CS (also on the continent) who told me that the 225/40 R18 92Y is freely available. When pushed and asked several times why a) it wasn't on the Michelin UK website and b) why it was difficult to get a hold of in the UK I was merely repeatedly furnished with sales guff about what a great tyre it was and that I should try them out. I would if I could, pal!
Overall, it was a futile exercise contacting them and trying to get a satisfactory answer...

That's how much they are(£130ish) oh and to my knowledge Michelin recently bought tyreleader .iv always had a good service and speedy delivery
simonp:
Last time I bought some it was in 235/35 R19 and they were less than that. That's why I think that price is steep. The 18" size is incredibly common and shouldn't really cost that sort of money...
