I know everyone else has thrown in their 2p worth.  But quite simply, when a tyre behaves like that, it is suffering with localised overheating.  Only two causes - incorrect camber, and/or tyre pressure too low.

For those who experience this with modified 'race' camber, if you are not willing to tame your camber, the only option is to increase tyre pressure on offending axle - typically by about 6psi.  :happy2:

What an utterly dangerous article.  I refer specifically to the Porsche advice regarding their compulsory N rated tyres.  TyreReviews.co.uk need to be stuck on top of one of Kim Jong-un's nukes!  :fighting:

I just changed to different tyres. No issues since.
