Don't overlook the deal from Michelin here: http://www.michelin.co.uk/tyres/special-offers/fuel/terms
I got a pre paid credit card (Mastercard) for £70.  :happy2: So that's £505 for the four tyres in reality.

Deal closes 31st May.

Read T & C - tyres must be purchased by 30 April and claim completed by 31 May so deal is essentially closed.   :sad1:

I'll add my thoughts on these after approx 20miles. Came from knackered Potenzas, Revo Stage 1, that's it. Went to garage this morning had a look at the tyres, they have super thick sidewalls and are really stiff. Went off to work, got them fitted and picked it up tonight.

Obviously they need to scrub in but they are a million times better than the knackered rubber that was on it, unsurprisingly. The ride is definitely firmer, but its still very compliant and smooth, cabin noise is reduced if anything. Grip is much better already, cornering is more stable and turn in is definitely improved.

Very happy with them so far, a good 'mod'.

I've run these for about 300 miles on the front wheels. Definitely stiffer and they remind me of the PS2 tyres I used to have. The F1s had a softer sidewall and felt softer so there was an initial loss of feedback when I first used them after having PS2s all round. But they were more forgiving than the PS2s and would stick to the road like glue.

So far the PSS appear to have the stickiness of the F1s with the firmer and more positive feedback of the PS2s. I find the braking is much better too. Glad I went for these and am looking forward to have these all round.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Any better price?  Fancy trying these on the front and sticking the AS2's on the back.
Great price, not heard of that site before. Now bookmarked!
Sell the AS2's and get x4 of them.

What's not letting you be sold on these yet?
Not as much grip?
Less comfortable?
Noisier?

Maybe it's just I was so used to the goodyears. These seem to grip ok but just don't feel as confident  with them yet

Take them to a track day and get to know them under those circumstances, you'll be amazed  :happy2:
