me too, was running PSS all round but needed fronts (worn on inside edges) and found PSS are in short supply or those that do have stock are prohibitively expensive

Have previously run the PS3 and they were poor.

Now running PS4 on the fronts (PSS rear) and so far they are indeed a great tyre  :happy2:
No match for the PSS in the dry but seem comparable in all other conditions.

That's expensive in my opinion. Also, they probably have them because they're not based in the UK (despite the domain name) and that the PSS seems to be more readily available on the continent. This was more or less confirmed to me by Michelin CS (also on the continent) who told me that the 225/40 R18 92Y is freely available. When pushed and asked several times why a) it wasn't on the Michelin UK website and b) why it was difficult to get a hold of in the UK I was merely repeatedly furnished with sales guff about what a great tyre it was and that I should try them out. I would if I could, pal!

Overall, it was a futile exercise contacting them and trying to get a satisfactory answer...

Last time I bought some it was in 235/35 R19 and they were less than that. That's why I think that price is steep. The 18" size is incredibly common and shouldn't really cost that sort of money...

These need changing obviously.. but they have started to delaminate, which I have not experienced with any other tyre before.

I know everyone else has thrown in their 2p worth.  But quite simply, when a tyre behaves like that, it is suffering with localised overheating.  Only two causes - incorrect camber, and/or tyre pressure too low.

For those who experience this with modified 'race' camber, if you are not willing to tame your camber, the only option is to increase tyre pressure on offending axle - typically by about 6psi.  :happy2:

Seems there's some confusion over PS4 and PSS....

What an utterly dangerous article.  I refer specifically to the Porsche advice regarding their compulsory N rated tyres.  TyreReviews.co.uk need to be stuck on top of one of Kim Jong-un's nukes!  :fighting:

I just changed to different tyres. No issues since.
