Sidelights On projectors not bright enough
« on: April 29, 2014, 09:34:21 pm »
Hi I got my projectors fitted today and the sidelights are not bright enough, the member from this forum who fitted them for me said he couldn't increase the brightness/percentage because my car was a older model and basic (2004). He said that if I wanted this I would need to buy a board or something from vw which is around £300 to enable more options

is there anything else I can do, my sidelight bulbs are already very bright but what I want is the hole section to be bright not just half? (like the last pic)

I dont think there is anything you can do to be honest. Think it just the way the camera takes the picture.  I have xenons with only half lit up (exactly as yours) but i took a picture at night time and ithe camera makes it look like the whole bottom section is lit up.

As said above, you don't need brighter LED's its just how they appear as half the bottom of the headlight is your indicator and the other half is your sidelights. But at night it looks as if the whole bottom part is light up which its not. Look at your car head on at night I bet they look the same as the R32's xenons in the last picture. :happy2:

Like I said mate its just how they look in day & night, your sidelights are 100% brightness at all times. :happy2:
