Is the revo intake supposed to rub on the heatshield? Mines rubbed the black coating off!

You'll need to bend the bottom part of the shield out of the way a wee bit then all's good. It shouldn't be rubbing around the hole or anywhere else though.

It's rubbing where the pipe goes through the hole! I've got some rubber pipe to put around the inner edge to stop the rubbing now!

Fitted the revo and WHOOOOSSHHHHH DISHHHHHHHH!

Haha sounds like it's trying to suck up the wildlife from the bushes as I go past! I'm a bit dissapointed as I've lost low end torque, once I get a stage 1 or stage 2 map with a milltek TBE will that low down torque be restored or be better than standard?

Ended up swapping back to carbonio as 56OctyVRS said it caused tooooo many drive ability issues when the Revo one was fitted! The car kept cutting out when coming to a stop and revs where all over the place, harder starting, loss of low down torque and I felt throttle response was decreased too, not really sure how they can call them a CAI as the tube and filter and heatshield inside was always hot haha!!!!

Oh well we all learn from experience, maybe the intake will perform better at stage 2 or 2+ Who knows but until then I'm sticking to the carbonio and stock system!

I think you need appropriate mapping and associated hardware to get the full benefit from the Revo at least. Under these circumstances they work without issue at stage 2+.
