Rolling Road Results Seem a little low maybe?
« on: February 21, 2010, 11:24:39 am »

Hi guys, took my car to a local RR day yesterday, it made 279bhp and 301lb/ft of torque. The mods are a EVOMS intake and bluefin Stage 1.

Do you think this is about right or should it be closer to 300bhp?

From the Graph it looks like it is a MAHA type dyno and most likely using T.A.T. software.

If those are your only mods, then I would say it is an accurate ballpark figure.

Go on to here...  http://www.jkm.org.uk/performance/GalleryRollingroad.htm

There are plenty of graphs to look at with the Edition 30's at Stage one and most are around your figures :happy2:
Golf R gone.

would agree with Hurdy values seem within range.
Are you DSG or manual?
the reason I ask is that your peak torque comes it a little late (4krpm), and your power tails off at 5krpm

(edit : scrub that, looks just the same as wigits REVO stg1 on the pirelli

seems very realistic to me mate :happy2: :happy2:

dont worry about reading about all these stage 1 cars making 315hp on stage 1, because that only happens in never never land on micky mouse dynos

P!sses me off though seeing you k04 guys remapping your cars and having the same power as mine when at at stage 2+ :fighting:   wish i had known about the k04 before i boughgt mine

Thanks for the good advice guys, that has put my mind at ease  :happy2:

VRSY,

Don't worry mate, get a BT conversion done ala Jonny C's GT Series turbo and then you won't have to worry about the K04's
