Cecm help please

Iv done some searching and more confused now than when I started looking  :sad1: I want cornering fogs, emergency brake lights and wiper wipe on opening so I believe i need a newer cecm. I have a 3 door 2007 ED30 and I think the part number is 3C8937049E but unsure. Could anyone confirm this will do what I want please?

Thanks for the links, that's where I got the part number I think I need but still unsure if it's the right one or not. Don't want to get the wrong part number

Do you need a new CECM?

I only ask as I don't believe I needed this on my Ed30 and I have those features you mentioned.

You need someone with VCDS to enabke the features you require.

Iv tried having the car coded but won't save the changes so told need to replace the cecm for a newer version.

The part number you quoted is listed for Touran in ETKA (not sure why other may know) it has changed as follows :-3C893049E to F - S - AB - now currently AC (just the last digit changes)

Now if the number you quoted is correct then you've got a 30 byte CECM

As for why it won't code, again others may know, hope this help but this area is a mind field!

Thank you dude, I havnt bought one yet - the one in my car at the moment wont code so wanting to get the right part number to fit. I'll look out for the part number you found - thanks again  :happy2:
