active carbon?
« on: May 04, 2014, 05:28:56 pm »
Hi, just a quick question. I was buying some service essentials from eurocarparts. Got confused with the cabin filter. Whats active carbon cabin filter and normal cabin filter? how can I find out which one I have?

Active carbon is normally a couple of quid extra and is a better filter iirc

As standard you'll have a normal filter. But the charcoal is just optional if you want it. Its supposed to help absorb smells to stop them coming into the cabin.

Wouldn't worry about the casing. They generally have a foam bit at the bottom, makes no difference.
