snapey,Your correct mate, same engine as the new Golf and Scirroco R are getting, if this pump turns out to be different over the one we have as standard, I am going to get it instead of the APR etc.

IIRC the new engines have a new HPFP that uses a roller type follower insead of the bucket to address the wear issue, this could be the differences they are talking about. The HPFP in the current S3 flows enough for 260 odd bhp so why would an uprated higher flowing pump be needed for the 261bhp Cupra?
