Newbie - Insurance
« on: May 05, 2014, 07:16:55 pm »
Evening all,

Been a fan of golfs for a while and I'm looking at getting a Mk5 GTI but cant find insurance under £2500 anywhere.

I'm 22 with 2 years no claims, access to a company vehicle (including personal use) and the car will be parked in a garage all day and night.

Does anyone know any good insurance companies other than Admiral, Direct Line and the comparison sites? Have a few mates that are into Civics and they say they found cheap insurance on their forums.

Any advice would be appreciated.

My insurance is cheaper on the drive than it is in the garage  :stupid:

I quizzed my insurance company and apparently there is more risk associated to driving into a confined space  :signLOL:

I give up trying to work out the method in the madness.

Good luck thou  :happy2:

It's also cheaper to park on the public roads, rather than your own driveway due to car thieves not knowing the address to get the keys? :stupid:

Ye tell me about it I always randomly think why do I spend so much money on my car? But after a drive I seem to forget everything.
