MDI iphone not supported. help needed

hello

I've retro-fitted the arm rest with the MDI kit as well. i have the RCD-310 which it came with, however when i plug my iPhone 5 in charges but says this iPhone is not supported with this device, is there anyway around this?

you need the iphone 5 lead

I have a USB lead with lighting plugged in will this not work?

You need an iphone 5 Lightning to MDI lead. You can't piggy back through a USB lead I'm sure.

have you check the plugs on the rear of the head unit? sounds like a speaker/plug issue

I've checked the plus at the back and I can't see any problems there, any other suggestions?

No I didn't, checked all the wiring, made sure the plugs were in correctly. Still no clue :sad1:
