« on: April 25, 2014, 09:24:16 pm »
Has anyone got any links to videos that are specific to the VW Mk5 Golf or VW paint that shows what kits to use and also how to use them in the best possible way as i have a few chips i would like to have a go at removing without having a full panel respray.

That's looks like a good guide, I'm going to attempt this method on a old panel and see how it goes.  :happy2:

Yes I'm on that site, it's got a lot of info on and has helped me many of times  :happy2: .

Yes I will update on this method when I get round to it, I've just order my first DA polisher with different pads and compounds etc so when I get a chance this summer ( hopefully soon) il correct the paint on my car then il have a go at fixing some stone chips on a old panel before I attempt this on the car.

I'm looking at the Chipex system, looks a lot easier and I do not like the idea of the wet and dry process of the paints 4 u system, it's a little bit dearer at £39 for a kit that will do a badly chipped car.

If you order.. is there any chance of a few before and after shots when you get round to doing it?
