Revo SPS help
« on: May 03, 2014, 10:30:03 pm »
evening all

I am going to be fitting my s3 cooler Monday and will have to disconnect the negative battery lead, this will obviously wipe my revo map.
I have downloaded the file on the revo site but I am struggling to find how to open the page where I can alter my setting/save my revo settings on to the switch so that I can plug it in and upload my original setting to the ECU once the s3 cooler is installed.
any help with getting me to that page will be appreciated. I am useless with computer tech.

connect the switch to your pc with the dial set to 0. Run the he sps software and it should then be able to communicate with the switch, allowing you to make custom settings and save them.

NB this only works with a sps plus switch.
Without traction power is nothing!

I have a similar issue.
My car wouldnt start the other day but power was still there for ECU & dash just had to get a jump start.
Therefore would my revo map have been reset to standard settings?
I have an SPS select switch not the plus version.
Would setting 2 put the same settings back on or do i need the select plus?

If your dealer set up your car and you got the switch programmed from him then using then performance setting should restore your map. If you got the switch elsewhere then you may have a settings problem that can only be sorted with a sps plus switch or a visit to a revo dealer.
