Water meth injection

I have a stage 2+ edition 30 running 350bhp, what gains would I get from running water meth injection ? Is it risky and how much to buy and get installed ? Any info would be great.

I had the AEM kit on my P1 Impreza. It was a nice bit of kit allowing to run more power / boost with less detonation & also lowering the air inlet temps. I bought a 10 litre supply of meth from jennychem & some deionised / distilled water. I had the car mapped once fitted & it allowed for another 30 horses. Obviously it depends what spec & mods you have as to what power increase you will achieve. Not seen many people in the vag world running this type of kit but then my knowledge with vag is a bit limited at the mo.

I chose the Aem kit as recommended by Alex at AKS but I'm not ready to go ahead with it yet

Surely performance gains and costs depend on if you just going to run it as added cooling or whether you going to get it mapped in but them make sure you don't run out I guess.

Yes, quite significant, I run Revo stage 2+ and before the meth I could only run timing 4
After the WMI install I'm now safely running timing 7 and she feels far more aggressive

Exactly what i was thinking. 10 hours ?  You can do a nice job half of that time.  Stick it in the passengers front bumper with the pump, cables then can go straight through the bulkhead into the gloves box or center console or even the storage compartment on the drivers side.

Anyway,

AEM for me. I can run an extra 2 on the timing advance (Revo) and have minimum timing pull. No dyno prinout tho.

I witnessed the job that Alex did, and there is no way you'd be able to do it in half the time. My whole car was stripped, including a lot of the dash.
I have the reservoir fitted in the boot with the pump hidden there as well (cut out of the material that holds the spare).  He also fitted an on/off rocker switch hidden in a compartment under the steering wheel,  and a visible green LED also below your sat/nav to warn u of any issues if the system stops working, and the main controller he installed in the glove compartment.
Trust me when I tell u that the installation is awesome.
I'm sure that you could do the installation in half the time, but it would look like a dogs breakfast, or nowhere as neat as mine.

The WMI kits themselves aren't that expensive, it is the labour involved to fit them. Worth every penny mind in my opinion.
