Fuel leaking
« on: May 09, 2014, 05:04:35 pm »
Hi Guys !
Wifey filled car with fuel last week , when she got home it smelt of fuel in boot area.
Checked it out and there is fuel dripping of bottom of main fuel tank and then evaporating ,seems like it's coming from the top of tank.
How do I get to tank top access cover ,is it under boot floor or rear seat base,
                        Cheers !!!

You have to remove the rear bench seat to access it.

Check the fuel filter I've seen many of leaking fuel filters. From what I remember it's right next to the tank so it could be there.

edit: Then again that wouldn't or shouldn't smell in the car.

Would it be a leaking pipe?
