Low profile trolley jack
« on: May 11, 2014, 06:43:03 pm »
Evening All

Getting coilovers fitted next week and want to get one to make life easier to adjust the set up.

What have people got and can anyone recommend one?

Seen a liftmaster 2 tonne on ebay 80mm (item 310879193536) seems good value for money.

Thanks in advance  :happy2:

I have two of those type of jacks in the garage, and they're okay for occasional use I suppose, but the rear castors will bend and twist about and the whole construction is less than I would prefer to have. Mine aren't the low profile jacks, but the construction is the same, and I paid about half of the cost of the linked one.

Costco do an excellent alloy low profile jack which (as soon as they put it back on special offer) I'm gonna have.
Sarcasm for free. Anything after that can only be considered as a bonus.

Just because you think you know something, doesn't make you an expert if you've just read it on the internet, y'know.

I had one i stole of my uncle that he got from the states.

But looks identical to this!

Those Arcan jacks from Costco weigh a ton, I borrowed a mates who bought it about 5 years ago and just about done my back in lifting it out the boot.. unless they're made of a lighter alloy now.
