To just swap the wires over without cutting I think you need a repair wire from VW as the wires are 2 different diameters  :happy2:

Send me a PM if ever need repair wires, I normally have a couple donor looms I can pull from so pretty much all colour combinations and connectors available, not interested in making money from as long as postage and what not is covered to help forum members  :happy2:

For pins 16 and 20? I was intending on swapping them in the next few days. Are they not the same size then?

Also, mirrors look great Ben. Sadly I still haven't got yours fitted!

I know what its like though, lve a load of things that need doing, but l never seem to get round to doing them. Especially now its almost always raining.

I was slowly DIYing away at them out in the shed since I got them but the end result was dire, so just left them in to get done with my wheels there.

Getting free time to do even the little things is horrendous!

Found the Bolternatives page on Facebook and sent the guy a message about bolts for the Mk5 platform. 2 days later they arrived. I like them!






There are a number of colours etc available and really smarten up the bay a bit.

Not done much recently, but had a few bits arrive recently. Only one lve 'fitted' so far is a DSG surround sticker from Bold Sport. Less than $20 delivered and covers my standard tatty surround. Also got an R-Tech PCV delete to go on, a Creations Motorsport dead pedal and MK6 heater controls to fit in the next few weeks, just hoping for some time off and decent weather to fit them all.

Couple of things happening next week:

Got a service booked in for Tuesday, going to get them to fit my Autotech HPFP at the same time.
Just purchased a 200 cell Milltek downpipe (being delivered on Tues or Weds hopefully) and am waiting on a catback to come up at the right price to go with it. Once lve got these ready to go l will be after an intercooler and then booking a trip to R-Tech to go straight to Stage 2+.
