Another trip to Midland VW on Friday to have the injector on cylinder 4 changed.
Car had been running rough for a while, EML light would flash on occasionally. Went to a local Indy VW Specialist who scanned it and "diagnosed" a problem on cylinder 4 so promptly binned my nice red R8 coil pack, put in a crappy black one, turned off the fault light and charged me £80 and had my car for a day. Needless to say next time l took the car out the fault reappeared. Not a happy boy.
While l was at Midland VW getting my suspension changed l booked it in for a new injector the following week. Got it fitted and now the car drives like a dream.
Its been an expensive few weeks on the mods front, with buying Eibach springs, Bilstein shocks, Powerflex bushes, Highline clocks, a new injector AND TTRS calipers. I now need @DaveB@Vagbremtechnic brackets and some discs and pads to go with them. Still waiting to hear back from
@vRSAlex about what kit he recommends. Once the brakes are sorted, its time for an exhaust.
