I am thinking of buying a MDI For armrest, i have a RNS510
is it a straight plug and play or do i have to re-programme the RNS510 ?

I had one fitted to my Edition30 with RNS, should be straight plug and play once connected  :happy2:

Just sold mine on here but they do come up from time to time.

Okay thanks, when it plugs in did it show up in the RNS the MDI function ?

cheers thats what im hoping that is just an easy plug and play, is it pretty easy to run it though ?

cheers thats what im hoping that is just an easy plug and play, is it pretty easy to run it though ?
it is fairly easy to run the cable to the armrest, just brace yourself for a few grazed knuckles

Do I need to change tha cable to the armrest if I have ipod dock there already to connect a MDI? I doesen't use the ipod dock because i now have a Iphone 5s. Or do I need to change the wiring from the rns510 to the armrest?
