part numbers for armrest shelf and mats?
« on: May 15, 2014, 11:31:18 am »
So I got myself and retrofitted a centre front armrest yesterday but it came with a gaping hole where the CD changer was and no mats.

What I really want is a shelf to put in there.

I've seen a previous post where someone fitted a USB port shelf in there:

So a few questions!

1. Is the part number for the USB shelf - 1K2857925B?

2. Is it possible to have a basic plastic shelf without ports and if so do you know the part numbers?

3. Does anyone know the part numbers for the rubber mats that go in the arm rest?

Cheers

I got a similar one to this for mine. It didn't fit very well, had to glue it in. The lid is down all the time anyway, but if you suffer from OCD you might want to fit an armrest MDI unit for usb/ipod, but that will mean re-fitting it with a harness to the headunit.

I've actually already got a USB cable fed from the head unit past the DSG into the cup holder so I could extend that out; I keep finding the USB shelfs seem to be around £100 though  :surprised:

Yeah you need deep pockets if you want to go OEM with vw
I put all the MDI money towards an rcd510, all your music will fit on 32Gb sd card, no cds , no ipod leads etc.

I did the same on my old roc R, forked out for the 510 and used a SD card :-)
