new car
« on: May 24, 2014, 11:18:25 am »
Hi, new to forum. I've owned various vws, but recently got my first mk5. It's a black 5 door gti, 55 plate, 80k miles. I had a transporter before this and the Mrs drove a corsa which I hated do decided they should both go and buy something she could drive around safely during the week, and I could enjoy driving when I get my hands on it at the weekend. This ticks all the boxes, I love it!
Anyway, just thought id say hi, loving this forum so far, just been reading and learning all sorts. As soon as I figure out how to upload pics I will.

Welcome mate  :worthless:

Erm, it has the 18" monzas and full leather. It has a pioneer double din head unit but to be honest I'm not really keen on it, so thinking of a RNS510. Other than that it's just a standard golf gti.
Still struggling with this picture thing!

Sign up to photo bucket mate, click upload photos from album.
Once the picture has uploaded into your photo bucket library click on the photo and at the right hand side you will see 4 codes like this under the links to share

click and highlight the one that says IMG, copy this then paste into the reply box on here.

Your done  :happy2:

Ah, that'll explain why I can't find anywhere on this site to add photos. I'll give that a go as soon as I can drag my lazy ass out of bed. Thanks surreyed30

Well I went on photobucket thinking I could just load pictures I already had, but it seemed to want me to take new pics and upload them? Anyway she was out in the car at the time so couldn't do it. I'll try again today

Oh, and whilst she was out in it, she introduced the wheel to the kerb, and it looks like they didn't get on coz the kerb has kicked f*ck out of my wheel! Gutted

my missus only drove mine up the drive once and she stalled it as the s3 brakes are a lot sharper than 206 brakes  :signLOL:
