Polar FIS+ uses the speed/rpms from the car to calculate the 0-60
Dynolicious uses the accelerometer/gyro in the Ipad/Iphone to calculate acceleration
VI Monitor does the same as the Polar FIS+
Racelogic VBox uses GPS and was proven to be very accurate when comparing to a £30k F1 datalogging GPS system.

Dynolicious is fairly accurate as long as you accelerate on one level, if the level changes it becomes more inaccurate.

Golf R gone.

John, are u saying that the VI monitor only goes by the speedo speed??  :surprised:
Because 60 on the speedo is nowhere near the correct speed.

How do you do this I have a private road or 2 to have a play.

You need to go into the configuration menu by long press of ok on a polar desktop>Chromometer>ok
Acceleration - ok
Start Speed - ok
Set Speed using + and -
Stop Speed
Set Speed using + and -
Start - ok

Note: start speed needs to be set at 1MPH otherwise the timer will start as soon as you hit start rather than as soon as the vehicle moves.

Thanks to neg for the how to.

nice one mate  :happy2:

It goes by engine speed in rpm off the OBD information. Slightly more accurate than the speedo, but still not as accurate as GPS.

What do u mean by accelerate on one level?

You need to be doing the run on a flat road with no uphill or downhill segments.
