MK5 2005 Gti Major engine problems
« on: May 15, 2014, 08:39:20 pm »
I have a 2005 mk5 golf Gti which has covered 58k miles, it has developed a fault and is misfiring on three cylinders it doesn't appear to be the coil packs.

I think that it is a major issue, can anyone recommend a garage who is familiar with fsi engines in the Bedfordshire area.

Thanks

could you not carry out a compression test to see if it is internal damage?
