If you have a Cruise stalk that may need updating to a latter revision, IIRC it needs to be a Revision E one to work with the Mk6 wheel.

Where did you source the airbag or did it come complete, still on the hunt for a bloody airbag.

Why not get one of the airbags from eBay? Usually around £170-£200 I think.

I'm in no rush, just waiting for the right deal but was just pondering as to your source.  :happy2:

Is it still only 7 buttons that work as I have heard Eddie has got all to work but could be Chinese whispers.  :P

if your willing to loose the audio and nav menu from MFD then you can most buttons to work

if you change your clocks to the scirocco ones then you can get all buttons to work, with full RNS 510 and latest bluetooth as well

but you loose lights/vision and convenience menu
Loads of extra's and retro fits.

mk6 wheel is a nice upgrade looks a bit more modern and up to date

but to be fair the orig mk 5 flat bottom wheel is still nice to drive with

i guess everyone will want to see if the mk7 wheel can be made to fit the mk5 not going to be cheap mind £££££££££
