Intake / exhaust
« on: May 22, 2014, 09:53:27 am »
Not long had my std gti now and I'm looking to start changing h/ware before I get a remap. Been looking at intakes/exhaust to start with.

Is there any recommendations on either; I've seen a lot of people talking about the forge twintake I think?

I've been looking at : http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/induction-kits/car/volkswagen/golf-mk5-gti/revo-technik-race-air-intake-2-0t-fsi-k03--k04-ceramic-cam-coat-finish

And

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/271411230242?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops=true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=108&device=m&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=108

With the exhaust is this the right system for my std gti and is the price about right.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply I'll have a little look later; do you have a link to a website with some prices and info.

I've opted for forge twintake system after read many topics on this and other forums it's appears to be a good all round system.

I have an EVOMs and on a £ per bhp I would always recommend them. Also look nice and subtle and you save £150 over the REVO for the (arguable) sake of 2bhp.
