Hello! Diesel 2.0TDI to Petrol ED30
« on: May 13, 2014, 02:00:51 pm »
Hi Guys! my name is Li and am based in Reigate. I have been looking through this forum for a months now and thought it was time I posted something on here!

I am driving a MK5 GT 2.0TDI which i have owned for around 3 years now. It is the best car I have ever driven and has never skipped a beat. Since returning from Uni, last year, I have decided I don't really need the fuel consumption of a diesel as much as before (no more trips back and forth from Nottingham), and so am currently in the process of selling the Diesel and searching for a GTI Edition 30, ideally in Black or Red...with a few added gadgets...and a reasonable price tag.

Anyway heres a photo of the current everyday and hopefully we will be seeing something a little more powerful in the coming months! If you guys see any for sale please don't hesitate to let me know  :happy2:

Thanks for looking!

I did the same, just make sure you get an ED30 with good spec and you'll love it
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Thanks guys! Yea definitely, I've seen a few that I really like but they are all hundred of miles away! I could ask my girlfriend to take me but not sure I can handle 6 hours in a Pug 207!  :driver:

Hi guys. Still on the search for a ed30. A lot of the ones I have been looking at have midline display clusters but I ideally want a highline cluster.

How easy is it to install a highline cluster and is there anyone able to do it from this site? I'm located in Reigate, Surrey.

Thanks!

You need Eddie-NL or Kalu to install these, usually sourcing the clocks is the hardest bit, but there may be some in the for sale section now and again.

I have been contemplating selling mine for months, but now the better weather is here I have probably changed my mind! Such good cars

Let me know if you ever consider selling your great example. The market is dry at the moment!   :sad1:

Hi Li, here's an Ed30 for sale it was being advertised for just over £10k a couple of months ago.
http://www.veloces.co.uk/cars/kdy/volkswagen/golf/2007/Z6BD046FE.html

It's not highline but these can be sought via the forum or eBay, but you would need to find the current speedometer part number, this one is for sale in the classifieds at present

As already mentioned Eddie-nl or Kalu are the people to speak to
