I think I may have mentioned this before, but what is with the design of VW rear brake system, especially the calipers?
I'm beginning to think that the design is just an evolution of the MK1 Golf because it seems that every car I've owned, from my Corrado,my MK2 GTI,the missus MK4 1.6 and now the MK5 have all suffered from the same problem...the rear caliper bias seems to eventually 'stick' on the left side.
I seem to be forever cleaning more amounts of brake dust from the left rear wheel, theres a creaking noise from the rear suspension (I cal it the VW creak) on that side and they ALWAYS develop a bloody squeel from that side on light braking!
It's bloody annoying is what it is!
