I bought a VW Golf Mk5 GT Sport 170, 08 plate, done about 47,000 miles back in January 2014. The more I drive the car the more I enjoy it, the car is basic ( as in not modified) and thought with the features it has , ie leather seats and heated ( never use the heated part…tooo strange a feeling) auto lights and wipers, privacy glass at the rear, had about all the bases covered until I found this forum, now I realise that my car serious lacks a whole host of extras I didn’t know I needed, but I will try and remedy this. It seems Eddie Nl ( who is not a million miles away) is the person for me to chat too and fulfil my dreams……seriously the only mods on my shopping list are

I was thinking of doing the boot mod (opening on the press of the button) but decided against it, knowing my luck, I would be fumbling for the key and press the boot release accidently and knock someone’s head off.
Seriously, great forum, I know I am a oil burner and don’t have an “I” after the GT but do enjoy reading the posts and advice on the forum
