Question for sportive cyclists

What tyres and inner tubes have you found to be mist puncture resistant?  (700x23c).

3 bloody punctures today all in different places luckily I was doing hill reps locally and not on a long distance trek!

I'm thinking of Gator skin tyres but not sure on inner tubes.  I could go with bulk buying them the.

Also what bike pumps are you using? I'm considering using C02 canisters

I've started using Schwalbe Marathon Green Guard on my hybrid so would look to something similar for you Sy.

Conti gatorskin for me too, great all year round.

Conti gp 4000 and lezyne micro floor pump is amazing. Better than the canisters, and it comes with a gauge which I find invaluable at £41

Tyres - I've used Schwalbe and Panaracer with no punctures in either (fingers crossed).

Pump - ALWAYS a track pump with a gauge.  I've got a Giant one I picked up for £30.  The connector fits both kind of valves.  I'll admit to carrying a cannister of CO2 just in case.  I figure it'll be quicker at the roadside just to get me home.

I reckon I've just jinxed my next ride!

Always stuck with my Schwalbe.

Was doing 40 miles a day with my mate same route following almost the same line and he had no end of punctures and that was including the Gatorskins. Unlucky I guess.

So far I'm on just over 1500miles with one puncture  as indicated by the Garmin 800

Deffo get a bit fit.  Will transform the ride.  Need to get mine done.

Touch wood I've not had a puncture yet.  Done a lot of miles too.  Bontrager R2 tyres on mine.  Set at 110 psi.  120 psi is too crashy and harsh.  100 psi too much resistance.

Should have pointed out I have a decent track pump, what im after is a decent frame mounted pump whether air or CO2 as I quite often go out for 60-100km rides each week

Sounds interesting.  I'm quite tight when it comes to bikes though.

Im sure its awesome, but i just get on with it and adhere to Rule#5 of the cycling rules (http://www.velominati.com/the-rules/)

I'm normally a 100psi kind of guy.  Considered bumping it up a little but not until i get new tyres as mine are really thin at the moment lol
