Has anyone purchased from Powerbulbs.com?
« on: June 29, 2010, 11:13:18 am »
Hi guys,

Just recieved my 'X-treme Power' bulbs to upgrade my poverty spec bulbs    , I've noticed they give you a free pack of 'Phillips Premium W5W' sidelight bulbs.

My question is: Has anyone used either? And is it worth swapping the sidelights? What sort of light do they give out? ( and breatheeeee   )

Cheers guys

Yes, think I bought the exact same products. Much brighter and clear.

They wont give you the 'white' xenon type look but they are much clearer than the poverty spec bulbs.

Have used powerbulbs twice (two cars). Absolutely fantastic.

Good luck with the sidelights. Remember to post back with how many fingers you have left.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

I chopped 1/4 of my finger off in a fire door a few years ago! I'll be very upset if i come back with less than 9 & 3/4 fingers!  :chicken:

I found long nose pliers usefuul, just tape some foam or padding over the knuckles though as when they give way they will shoot out making you punch something in the bay.
