Which tyres! Poll
« on: May 31, 2014, 02:02:38 pm »
iv'e spent days reading tests and reviews but there isn't an obvious winner, one place will praise a certain tyre and the next place will slate it. Only comment or vote off experience please, not going off what your brothers dogs vets teachers gynecologist thinks. Ive been racking my brains and the internet for days and I cant take it anymore so hope you guys can help me out. All tyres are closely priced...ish, Cheapest are Vredestein at £82.10 each and dearest are the Michelin at £99 which i'm happy to pay but if i went for the cheaper side of things I could get 4 wheel alignment done too, but that can always wait if the Dearer ones are so much better. Any other suggestions please just say.
Thanks

Ive heard really good things about Vredestein ultrac sessenta tyres from both website reviews and user reviews  Im more than likely going to get a set of those when there is a need for them. As their quality tyres and not too pricey

cheers for the link, just reading that now. Super sports are too expensive im afraid at £460. Ive heard good things about the Vredestein too but some people are saying there dangerous in the wet, yet others are saying their great.

Just added vredistein ultrac vorti on there too after just reading some very good things about

In that case I personally would go for the Goodyears...

I swapped GoodYear assymetric for Kumho KU39 and I'm more than happy with Kumho.

Looking forward to the results of this, I'll be changing mine soon and want to get something decent.  Car came on infinity on the front and Haida on the rears, all of which are absolute sh****. Wouldn't even recommend them for a rope swing.

For me it's got to be the Goodyear Ass 2 extra load ones. The Michelin are just as good but too pricey. If money is no option then the super sports would be my choice however if you have a tighter budget I honestly think the Goodyears are very good value for money. All in my opinion of course.

Vreds for me. Had them them on my 25th anni and my mk5. A very good tyre, excellent in the wet and dry and very well priced. Although they do get a touch noise when down to the last few mm on the tread.

I run winters / summers so wear isnt so much an issue for me .

I was going to fit Yoko's Ad08R's as I run them on 2 of my other cars but went for Michelin Pilot Super Sports as I had heard good things about them .

Currently putting some miles on them , before I put them to the test but first impressions are good so far .
