Looks like i will be getting the eagle f1's then, clear winner in the poll, I think i would be happy with any set of those tyres after reading reviews they dont dissapoint. Shame the eagles arent a sexy design like the sessentas but i'll get over it. Just checking out where to get 4 wheel alignment done now and a place thats really good at balancing wheels, most places are rubbish and after a new tyre theres always a vibration.

I've tried the Eagle F1's (excellent allround), and Uniroyal Rainsport 2 (excellent in the wet, not as good as F1's in the dry), tried vReds in the past, found them very long lasting but not as much grip as the F1's.... so personally I'd go with the F1's especially if you can get them under a ton in 18's

iv'e spent days reading tests and reviews but there isn't an obvious winner, one place will praise a certain tyre and the next place will slate it. Only comment or vote off experience please, not going off what your brothers dogs vets teachers gynecologist thinks. Ive been racking my brains and the internet for days and I cant take it anymore so hope you guys can help me out. All tyres are closely priced...ish, Cheapest are Vredestein at £82.10 each and dearest are the Michelin at £99 which i'm happy to pay but if i went for the cheaper side of things I could get 4 wheel alignment done too, but that can always wait if the Dearer ones are so much better. Any other suggestions please just say.
Thanks

Slightly biased perhaps, but for me Karl it'd be the MPilot Sport 2's, which I have now and are fantastic all rounders (225/40/18 92Y) or the MPilot Super Sports, which a friend has on his MY10 Rocco R (235/40/18 92Y). After one drive, I was sold TBH.

Either are as good as each other in real world, daily driving mate :happy2:

I just had 4 Michelin SP3 fitted and the difference over Falken FK452 is unbelievable. Thought it was just in my head at first, but after a few hundred miles the difference is clear. They just feel more comfortable and give you that little bit more faith in the corners.

End of the day, any premium tyre will feel amazing over a mid-range or budget!
