To cut or not to cut
« on: June 01, 2014, 04:33:30 pm »
Got myself an r32 back bumper for my gti, went to get the exhausts fabricated today, I planned on running with no back box and just having a y pipe for the trim exit.. Only problem is the spare wheel well obstructs any space to run the tailpipes!

Anybody worked round this, found a solution or has anybody modified the wheel well with a channel?

Whaaa? If there's space for a whole back box on a standard car, surely there's room for some 60mm pipe?

never heard that before there should be plenty of room to just have a y-pipe theres enough room for an r32 style exhaust on a gti with a rear box

ive removed my wheel well and plated it over but its not necessary for an r32 rear end
