Is it difficult to make them fit?

I was speaking from personal experience. All fitted correctly with the clips provided maybe that was the problem.

If your golf is a 2006+ facelift model then you need the non projector style fogs http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Golf-MK5-GTI-front-fog-light-lamp-lights-Pair-/171331082915?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Plat_Gen%3AMK+V%7CModel%3AGolf&hash=item27e420daa3

Mine is an 06 plate but prept face lift...I am about to put a gti style front bumper on, just need to know what fogs I need, and how to make them fit

I already answered on the other thread that your fogs won't fit a GTI bumper, but now what you wrote mixes it up again.

Are you putting on a genuine OEM bumper, or a replica? Because if it is a replica your existing fogs are the same fitment.
