So I bought the car on Friday night, well chuffed! Initially would have preferred one with lower mileage but chose condition over mileage in the end. This one has been clearly well looked after which is more important imo.
I've changed from an EP3 Type R to this which I loved and it's difficult to compare the 2 but this feels like the perfect progression - so much nicer and comfortable on the motorway and a lot more power lower down the rev range
Still getting to used to the DSG but I'm very impressed with that too, can't believe how fast the changes are. As for mods, not that much tbh - would like to retrofit a sat nav unit for now. Interested in a stage 1 remap but I think I'm just going to enjoy the car how it is for now. One other thing, the vw centre caps on the alloys are quite marked - I assume I can just get replacements?
Once the rain has stopped and the weather is better I'm gonna give it a proper clean and I'll get some photos up.
Oh, and I forgot to mention in my first post, I'm located in Bradford (but the car came from Basingstoke).
