Well as you have asked he he:

More are available, I just haven't got around to listing them yet.

If this breaks any forum rules then please let me know and I will take the post straight down. I have asked for details of what's involved with being a trader and I'm waiting for some details.

I've only just started listing VW bits since buying my MK5 but I've never had any fitment issues with all of the other bonnets I've done for the Evo's etc.

I'm not sure it breaks any forum rules or not, but you appear to be exaggerating your prices somewhat. See here for the Eurolineas bonnet: - http://www.limitlessmodz.com/volkswagen/1566-golf-v-vented-bonnet.html which you seem to be selling at £650 while your competitor is selling it some £210 cheaper. Admittedly, they charge shipping at £25 which brings the discrepancy down to £185, but a cynic would suggest that you simply order them from there and ship them on at a profit.

As for the Seibon carbon fibre bonnet, that's a little trickier. However, the official UK importer sells these on Ebay for about the same price as you, with the added bonus that if you send him money there's a very good chance you might actually end up with what you paid for, rather than sending neck end of a months wages (for some people) to a random newbie on a forum so he can possibly disappear with hard earned monies.

Of course, in no way am I implying that this is the case with you, just pointing out how very easy it is to get sucked into scams simply because it's on an internet forum so it must be okay. Always willing to be proved wrong of course...

Sarcasm for free. Anything after that can only be considered as a bonus.

Just because you think you know something, doesn't make you an expert if you've just read it on the internet, y'know.

I understand what you mean as carbon isn't cheap and people want to be confident they aren't going to lose their hard earned cash.

Although I'm very new to the VW comminuty, I've been in the Evo community for almost 3 years now. Please feel free to have a look on the MLR if you would like to esearch my company:

www.lancerregister.com

With regards to Eurolineas I go on an RRP so I'm not sure how the other retailer is doing that, although I'd love to know.

I am an authorised Seibon dealer but not the main dealer, although you still get the full Seibon warranty as I'm an authorised dealer.

Basically I am a central hub for carbon where you can find lots of different brands in one place. I also have some items made for me which are only available from me. There is nothing for the Golf at the minute but there is always an option to develop new items if there is a demand for it.

Cheers

Rick
