which company mate? i went into vw yesterday looked at the R and GTD the GTD cam out at £330 a month with a 1k deposit

Seems the cheap 'R' deals are over unless you are a business customer, VW have today dropped 1.5k from the GFV on 2 year PCPs and therefore raising the monthly payment and have pulled the cheap 'personal' lease deals...

i see they don't offer the service package now either, you can pay £500 for 3 years free servicing. they used in include this in the deal

Not at all, at that price you could include the maintanance schedule for less than what some want has a deposit

Darren, I'd definitely check whether VWFS are underwriting the quoted deal as that's VERY cheap for £500+vat deposit and 10k pa assuming it's a personal lease?
Lots of disappointed people on the r forum now having their orders pulled even those with build dates and tracker numbers for build!

GTD is probably the MK7 that I'd end up going for too, definitely the sensible choice if you do a few miles and drives fantastically and sounds great if you spec the sport and sound pack!
