Steel grey Gti
« on: June 10, 2014, 12:34:26 pm »
Hi All, Thought I would get a thread started of my latest purchase. So last weekend I became a mk5 owner again :) Im forever changing cars but the longest car I've ever owned was my mk5 R32.So the moment I sat back behind the wheel of a mk5 I instantly felt back at home.

Couple of shots of my old R32

So the gti came with a few goodies, the previous owner kept the wheels, they were nice but just not a wheel I would go out and buy.So it's currently now on some rs6 wheels, I will be changing them for some speedline turini's in the summer.I will be doing plenty of changes to the car, first on the list is suspension.Currently in talks with ryan@midnight garage with regards to St coilovers, top mounts and autotech anti roll bars. Will be plenty of forge motorsport goodies going on soon.

Needs a real good clean and a few layers of Swissvax crystal rock going on it once I've had the front wings replaced.

Cheers, It's fairly rare the splitter is a Rieger item only seen one other car running one.

both cars looking good, the front lip on the gti reminds me of the VR6 front lip on the mk3

That's probably the best front splitter I've come across. Anybody thoughts on where to get one?
