PPCGB R32 rear bumper vs Genuine
« on: June 09, 2014, 04:39:31 pm »
Hello people.

Quick question if someday knows.

I've currently got one of the above replica bumpers on my golf.

Does anyone know if the bottom lip is a deep as the real thing just looking at pictures on the net the genuine ones seem to be deeper or are they the same?

Any one compared them side to side?

Cheers for any help :)

the actual overall height of the bumper seems to be less

Yeah seems the bottom half the part that's usually matt is not as deep as the genuine ones.

I can confirm that the PPCGB one did cause me a few problems when being fitted, on my one the lower section near the wheels where the fender bits are it seems slightly different shape, I think the PPCGB ones are shorter and don't cover the length from underneath, doesn't seem like it will cause any issues tho as its only a bit fender that's not screwed into the actual valance. OEM is the way to go I would say less/no complications straight fit it seems , probably in future I will still get an OEM R32 one but for now it does the job fine
