Ive been using the 3M bars. Very good results. Clay once  a year with warm soapy water and VERY light pressure

I have used the Autobright medium and light clay bars, the auto finesse clay bar and one of the micro fibre cloth bars and have to say for ease of use, go for one of the micro fibre cloth clay bars :)

normal clay bars though, not much difference between them, as far as i could tell anyway!

I have been using clay mitts recently but still am not sold on them.
I still think they do more damage than a regular clay bar.
I'm working on someone's car from here on Saturday so will look to use the clay mitt on this with particular attention to the before and after claying for any marring.

i think they clay mitt works more quickly for heavy contamination but for lightly contaminated cars there's not much in it really.

as said i am yet to be sold and want to try more cars with the clay mitt (only tried it on one or two cars that are undergoing heavy enhancements anyway).

either way i think you should always be prepared to polish after clayying as you will nearly always cause marring.
