New member - Golf GTI DSG in Red

Hi,

My girlfriend and I had a little spending splurge recently! We went out and bought a Renault Clio 172 Cup and a Golf GTI DSG on the same day. These will sit alongside the TVR Chimaera, which is reserved for sunny weekends!

And finally the Golf! This is now my girlfriend's daily driver. Plan to remap it (maybe use R-Tech although they're not really local!) and upgrade the stereo.

We're both really enjoying the Golf, we like the DSG gearbox, nice not to have to change gear and cruise control is handy on the motorway! It's nice to have some modern features after driving the Clio and TVR!!

Welcome mate, the paint work looks spot on great example. Got many plans for it apart from a remap?

Thanks. It is very nice. Shame my girlfriend has a new job. We used to work together so we drove in to work together. Now I have to take the Clio in every day!

No real plans, stage 1 remap (I’ve heard R-Tech are the main guys for this?), upgrade the stereo, possibly upgrade all speakers and add an amplifier. Might look at an exhaust and intake in the future. Want to keep it looking standard though, I think it looks really good as it is. I do like the Edition 30 rear lights, but it’s a bit of a waste of money really!!

We nearly bought an Edition 30, but really we would have been stretching our budget too much, so just bought a really nice GTI with 18’s, in red.
