New GTI Owner - Derby
« on: June 16, 2014, 01:24:59 pm »
Hi,

Thought I would introduce myself.

Bought my 07 Steel Grey GTI from a member on here. Planning on being a lot more active!

Currently only mods involve a few interior upgrades, miltek cat back and stag 1 bluefin.

My plan is to take it to stage 2+ with R-Tech as they are locan. First up is an Intake after a few more minor mods!

Cheers

Thanks mate.

Bought from micaerin!

No pics yet as I also bought a new house at the same time so not had time to clean the thing! It was an extremely well looked after motor before I bought it so I am ashamed at the condition I have let it slip in to haha... Hoping to get some time at the weekend to give it a good wash so will take some pictures then! ;)

I will keep an eye out for you then too! Don't see many GTI's about though to be fair...

As I mentioned, my first upgrade will be the intake. I have been weighing up the EVOMS or Forge TwinTake but unsure what route to take.. can anybody suggest something?

Also, the VW logo in the centre of the steering wheel is ridiculously scratched (god knows how).. Is there a way to replace just the logo at low cost?

Cheers
