Oil pressure light warning, switch off engine

This week my low oil light popped up, then went off, next day came on way to work, parked up, did my days graft! Then when left work thought right will top up oil when get home, which i have now done.
Just in motorway before, then red oil light came on flashing saying stop, luckly was just pulling off slip road, so stopped turned engine off. Left it started again was fine for about 5miles then same again light on, so stopped,  drove another 5miles home with no light on again.
What could this be, i changed the pickup pipe about 3months ago, whilst doing oil and filter change.

Did u clean the sump too? I used to have a light come on too but got the pick up pipe changed, the guy also cleaned the sump. If u cleaned it then try the sensor.

Yeah mate cleaned sump, followed the how to guide.
Is the sensor the one on the bottom of sump?
